Assessment Portolio
“Assess with Jess!”
This portfolio of assessment strategies is coupled by in-depth, personal reflections on the creation, application and results of assessment as, for and of learning. It was designed for EDTL3200, a course on Teaching and Learning strategies.
I have included this assessment portfolio as a sample of my coursework as I believe it is an excellent collection of my experience thus far with the tricky job of assessment. In the portfolio I explore the way in which my own teaching philosophy intersects or blends with current B.C. standards of assessment. I also included this portfolio because it outlines my journey to better understanding the many forms of assessment and the necessity of such. Upon completing this portfolio, I felt a stronger sense of self efficacy regarding assessment.
